Yesterday I was lucky enough to explore the Reiss SS16 collection, which I was really excited to see as I fell in love with pretty much every piece from their AW15 collection. And they're one of the high end of high street which keeps great quality with on-trend pieces, whilst others always fail on one of these I find.
As always, they are always so enthusiastic about the pieces and I was shown around by two gorgeous ladies Stephanie and Katie. Explaining their newest theme, the '7 day wardrobe', its taking the focus off workwear and weekend-wear being separate and creating a capsule wardrobe where you can where all of them whenever you want.
The collection had some gorgeous colours interspersed with some periwinkle blues, mustard yellows and some neutral tones to build together. Without departing from the 70s trend that has been so popular, thy've given it a Spring update with the pussy-bow blouse being added to chiffon blouses, and suede jackets with a popped colour and cinched in waist for the perfect silhouette. In fact, suede and leather was a huge factor in the collection from leggings to macs, which I am super excited about.
Going to a tropical holiday? They even have you covered for that with some great floral prints, and khaki culottes to pair with a simple white tank and espadrilles. And with numerous styles of jumpsuits, they're officially the most universal piece in your wardrobe right now.
They still have their vintage and party range with some lace and embellishment here and there, as well as a glittery update to my favourite box bag that sold out last season.
Reiss once again nailed it and means I'm wishing away the Winter so I can rock a printed co-ord and a chic overcoat.
Thanks so much to Katie and Stephanie at Reiss who personally showed me around the collection
