On a stressful Monday in January, I received an e-mail inviting me to the launch of The Chapel Salon founder Amanda Dicker’s new lifestyle launch. I happily accepted and thought nothing else of it apart from another fun evening with canapes and learning about some new products. Yet instead, I came away feeling so close to this small group of women, feeling inspired and motivated by their outlooks on life. Continue Reading
We’ve all have those good intentions before a holiday; you book it, you have 6 months to get in shape, and you think easy right? Until of course, your roommate fancies that Dominoes, that colleague leaves so you have a cake, and then it’s your birthday meal and BOOM, the holiday is next week and you still aren’t feeling ready to bare all in a bikini. I was having one of those days where nothing was going right and when my favourite hand cream had run out, I was just in that bad funk. The gorgeous Lush came to the rescue and sent me some little treats to cheer me up. If that’s not perfect customer service than I don’t know what it. Continue Reading
With Monday mornings comes back to real life, i.e. putting on the make-up so you resemble something somewhat human when you leave the house, unlike the weekend when you don’t leave in fear that your Netflix might miss you.

I’m no beauty blogger by any means. I don’t know the newest trends, I’m useless at putting eyeliner on and my make-up routine hasn’t changed since I was 18.
However I’m lucky enough to be in the industry where you’re always being given new things to try, so every day this week, I’ll be having a go with some of the best things I’ve been given (or snaffled from the freebie table at work).
Holidays bring a multitude of issues: hideous swollen bug bites, flip flop blisters and greasy pores from too much suncream. My main problem however is, surprise surprise, sunburn. My poor frazzled face gets the worst of it so thankfully two beauty products came to my aid for my holiday SOS in the form of Elemis and Balance Me. Continue Reading
As usual, my being on Twitter at the right time meant I was able to get tickets to a small breakfast meet up with vlogger Fleur de Force and Topshop to launch their newest festival make up collection which was very exciting! Continue Reading
